What are some advantages to DSL routers?

Answered By Daren Edgewood, Editor

Although DSL routers will limit your mobility, the main advantage of DSL routers is that you will have equally strong signal no matter how far away you are from the router. Another advantage of DSL router is that no one can pick up your DSL signal out in the air and start accessing your files and commit illegal acts online.

Wireless DSL hubs can be very convenient, but you should be aware that whoever is in the range of the signal can use your wireless DSL hub's signal and access the Internet without your permission. They can even access your files that are stored in your computer via wireless network.
