Can you answer MASAKI A’s question about DSL?:

DSL router has only phone connection in the back. My room has cable
internet. Is there anything to change ethernet wire to phone line?

DSL Feedback: Well, I wish I could tell you there is a way but the only way to do this is with a different ROUTER!

The routers with MODEMS built in are built in for DSL not cable. Or for CABLE not DSL.

I always use the DSL/CABLE routers, they need an external modem but they work with either. Those that are the combo units only work with the particular service they were built to work with.

Just get a good WRT54 (linksys) or a good DLink or Netgear Cable/DSL router and your back in business.

Sorry, wish there was a different answer but you have to use the right router for the right connection.

    Good Luck
