How do I uninstall the old verizon dsl connecting program installed from a cd after I got a router for it?

Can you answer Ray M’s question about DSL?:
I used to have a regular dsl modem to connect myself online. It came with a cd to install the verizon dsl program which connects me to the internet when i turn my computer on. But now I got a verizon router for it and it automatically connects. The problem is that the old verizon dsl program from the cd is still on my computer and it still stupidly tries to connect ( even tho my router already has me online) and theres no uninstall option in the add/remove program or even in the option where it shows you what verizon products I have and what i want to uninstall, cause theres nothing under the verizon products lol.

DSL Feedback: try to delete the verizon dsl connection from “network and connections” in control panel and also from startup folder in programs. you can always e-mail the cust support of verizon for a solution
DSL Feedback: the verizon dsl is the provider and you don’t have to uninstall anything, the router use the verizon connection. you are talking about you had dsl, right ? because you dial to get the connection it was not dsl. if you had a dial up connection then you just can delete the icon of the conection. or go to the control panel and see the add and delete icon and uninstall any program left for the dial up connection. I hope you have a dsl conection, now. for being dsl has to be alive 24/7.
